I spent 3 months (and a few other trips) in “americas dairy land” (Wisconsin – Mid West) without seeing a single cow.They keep them all inside, and the butter is WHITE. It’s scary.Meat isn’t a problem tho – I’m a vegetarian, mostly – but what I had (“USDA approved beef”) was woefull compared to the B-grade stuff we get in NZ. Maybe I need to find some A-grade NZ stuff here in London….

I don’t know what’s going to happen. America’s economic situation is very different from the 90s. Trade is more global now, and China is rising fast. I just hope Obama will start fighting and stop letting people run over him. If he does that, he, and most importantly, the country, will be better off.
